Not a very smart way of phrasing the question. It makes me think that people often complain! However, I had a very nice experience in the hotel and I have stayed there before and will use it again. Not for its charm, because it does not have that, but because of convenience and very friendly staff

The staff at this hotel are fabulous. Every one of them! They made me feel very welcome from the moment I entered the door, and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I have to admit I knew nothing of Kalmar before I traveled there. Now, I can tell you that I will definitely return to this beautiful city, and when I do I will be staying at the First Hotel Witt!

Amazing service and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make our Ironman experience unforgettable. The spacious room easily accommodated our luggage and bike. Free wifi and a stocked fridge added convenience. highly recommended.

Friendly very helpful staff. Perfect english spoken. Tea/Coffee available in lounge. Free WiFi with good signal. Good sized room. Great location for exploring the town. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Staff recommended Lanngatan 10 which was very good.
External appearance isn't pretty but don't be put off.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, with its clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel facilities, including the pool and gym, were great. The location couldn't have been better - within walking distance of everything in the city center and just a couple of minutes walk from the sea and a small town beach. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options.
